Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Compensation Range: $55k - $58k

APM Music (a joint venture of Sony Music Publishing and Universal Music Publishing) is the leading provider of original production music available to content creators, with an extraordinary collection of over one million hand-curated recordings spanning every country, genre, and era. APM is the go-to for thousands of music supervisors, producers and video editors, spanning every market. Our music can be found daily on platforms as diverse as Netflix, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Wondery, and Spotify, among many others. In 2023, as in every year, multiple Super Bowl commercials featured APM music content. In addition, APM tracks have been sampled by the likes of Jay-Z, Dr Dre, Nas, Drake, MF Doom, and many others. The APM NFT series (a cyclical, limited offering of music collectibles), offered via Dapper Labs, typically sells out within minutes.

This is a Hybrid role and will work out of the centrally located Hollywood office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Lunch is provided in the kitchen on Tuesdays, and snacks and parking are also provided in the pet friendly office (with great views)!

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct research to identify potential prospects and target companies
  • Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including cold-calling, email campaigns, and networking
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and registrations and convert them into qualified leads
  • Schedule appointments and demos for the sales team with qualified leads
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads in our CRM system
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and conversion targets
  • Engage with prospects to understand their needs, challenges, and business goals
  • Articulate our value proposition clearly and concisely to create interest and curiosity among prospects
  • Utilize CRM software to maintain accurate records of lead information and track sales activities
  • Work closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads for further sales engagement
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to effectively communicate our unique selling points

What You’ll Have:

  • At least one year of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a related role
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and sales tools such ZoomInfo, Salesloft, and Linkedin Navigator
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Adept at engaging and building relationships with prospects over the phone and email
  • Goal-oriented, persistent, and self-motivated with a competitive spirit
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
