Account Executive, Music Licensing

The Role

As part of the Sales Team in New York, the Account Executive, Music Licensing will drive B2B sales within the advertising sector. This person will manage existing relationships and forge new ones by leveraging their passion for business growth and customer success. The compensation listed is a combination of base pay plus incentive.

    The Responsibilities

    • Cultivate relationships with agency clients, increasing licensing volume through regular engagement, including in person and virtual meetings and industry events.
    • Scout and secure new business in the advertising arena.
    • Craft and negotiate business agreements.
    • Collaborate with Marketing for campaign insights and innovations.
    • Identify and participate in industry events to bolster APM's thought leadership.
    • Provide expert demonstrations of APM's offerings.
    • Maintain accurate client and sales data in Salesforce.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape.
    • Work with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • Deep knowledge of the advertising industry.
    • Proven track record in B2B sales, with a knack for exceeding targets and spotting new opportunities.
    • Exceptional presentation skills.
    • A curious, creative mindset.
    • Proficiency in Salesforce.
    • Team-oriented, with a drive for collective excellence.
    • NYC-based or able to commute conveniently.
